I just fitted this bad boy in my 79 Camaro z28, found it whilst having a clearout /tidy up, bit of eleetrical cleaner and a blow out with the air line, works great.
Realistic with graphic equalizer, just need to fit some knobs and I'm sorted to bang out some Rainbow..

Realistic were the 'Own Brand' label of the shop that used to called Tandy back in the 80's. Like a simpler version of Maplins.

Presumed to have been fitted at the Birmingham International Motor Show launch in 1984 - and it's still there

I used to love going into Tandy, I got a cracking big torch from them.

Ignore the Bluupunkt decal , that was done to wind up a friend of mine who swears by all things Blaupunkt . This is a Goodmans RC that I have had lost in a pile of boxes for twenty five years . I had a cd player in my E24 but was fed up carryoing all the cd's around . I pulled this one down from the loft to see if it worked ,wired it up and plugged an MP3 player into the cd in socket and out came a more than acceptable sound, granted I have some good quality speakers in the car . Adjusting the sound mode on the MP3 player just made it better and with the addition of a simple bluetooth receiver it all became very neat and tidy. This one was OK but I picked up another exact same one brand new in the box NOS one off Ebay for £20 which sounds even sweeter. A "cd in " radio cassette is definately the way to go for a retro look with modern practicality .

The AM radio in the Vauxhall is just too kool for Skool to me. Lots of memories, think I've owned at some point half of what I see on this page! I've got some other makes too knocking about, but here's another Blaupunkt.

I had put some Pioneer 800 watt ones in!!..I have since changed the head unit to a JVC tape player which is way better..
If you find a rear spoiler off a vitesse, give me a shout, otherwise I will have to make a glass fibre one, or maybe a carbon one

Ace thread! I have a stack of '90s Sonys and Blaupunkts in my shed back in Aberdeenshire. I wish I had them here. And a mk2 GTI or 928 to stick them in!

Rimmers sell a fibre glass copy, they do pop up on Ebay at times too. Trying to find a series 2 dash and 2600 head/cam carrier assembly myself at the minute.
