Is the stock commercial clutch as fitted to LDV's etc have a higher clamping force than the car clutches, what about the Land Rover clutches? thanks

Hi, The LDV V8s were fitted with down rated engines (carb restricters) so a standard 9.5" clutch is used. The V8 Land Rovers had 10" clutches.

Ah ,ok, does the land rover clutch fit a SD1 flywheel? thanks Hi, No, it has a different PCD for the cover bolts. You could use an LR flywheel but check first because there may be clearance issues for the 10" clutch cover inside the shallower car bell housing. Colin |

Sorry cant help with the question, but if you have an LDV V8, please start a project thread!!! Some LDV's left the factory with a V8, think most were police vans. |
