Hi folks i recently bought a cheap 206 that came with a misfire. To cut a long story short i had it on the diagnostics and it came back with permanent misfire on number 4 cylinder. So far iv changed the plugs, no change, tested wiring to injectors, all fine, fitted new coil pack, misfire still there, so fitted new injector and now the dam thing wont start! It turns over but doesnt sound like its going to start. Turned it over enough to make sure fuel rail was full but still no go. Decided to charge battery overnight and try again. Started straight up but died after 3-4 seconds and now its back to just turning over and not starting. Iv had it apart and back together 3 times now and cant find and problems. Help! any ideas guys? Cheers steve.

they aren't coded, its just an on/off solenoid.
did you compare new to old injectors to confirm they were identical?
done a compression test? which TU engine is it?

Did you replace just the one or all 4 injectors? If all 4 are the injectors proven working ones? Eg not gummed up so they actually flow fuel

Disturbed some crud which is not holding the pressure regulator open?
Have you checked the injectors have power to them and are being fired by the ECU?

Had a 2003 206 that ran spot on. Then on Monday would turn over but not fire nor start in any way. Turned out it was a simple fuse in fuse box under bonnet

If this is the model with the moulded loom that plugs in the middle of the inlet manifold check the wiring continuity in that little loom as is common to break inside when dismantled.
