£5995
Original. NOT modified or neglected and tired, like many of them.
This is the GT V6 model - NOT to be confused with the earlier 4 cylinder 2500cc model which was also a different shape.
FEATURED REGULARLY IN A LEADING WEEKLY CLASSIC CAR PUBLICATION OVER THE LAST YEAR by Owner/ Classic Car Motoring Writer.
America's only mass produced mid-engined sports car. The car that DeLorean wanted to make before he left GM and set up his own company to make one.
"Wow! - Is that one of those Fiero's? I've heard of them but never seen one till now!"
"What is it?"
"Is it a DeLorean?"
A piece of motoring history - The plastic bodied mide engined sports car with a solid steel drivable space frame. Not to be confused with the earlier version, this was the upgraded body GT version which was added to the line up in 1986. A beautiful design. And you could be the owner of one of the best kept regularly used examples there is in Europe. Rare to find in the USA today without custmisation etc.
LOADS OF HISTORY with the car! I CAN SEND YOU PHOTOS OF THE DOCUMENTS AND RECEIPTS VIA MESSENGER OR WHATSAPP
72,000 Miles, Auto, Cruise Control, AC, 2.8 V6
MoT Until October 30th 2018
Most got turned into Ferrari replicas so few GTs survived in original spec.
Rare survivor and unusual American car.
Body is plastic 'Enduroplast' over a driveable steel space frame.
The advertising at the time pointed out that it came second only to a Volvo in US safety tests and 'the body would never rust'.
Each panel is coded and they are all matching numbers on the car.
There is a deep and VERY useful storage area in the rear boot/trunk that is deceptive in the amount of space. It holds a lot more than your average 2 seat sportscar and the interior cabin is also wide and deep and a roomy space for a long journey pr touring.
THIS CAR
Maintained regardless of cost with loads of documentation.
All MoTs
All Tax Discs
....are among the MANY MANY receipts etc. since 1994!
Spares readily available. Many parts are general General Motors and the quite economical GM 2.8 V6 was a common engine. Some spares with the car, including rear light panels. But you can just get in and drive.
Kept in heated garage for most of its life.
Covered 6000 miles since 2006! Unmolested factory spec car with a few rare options such as the LARGE removable top (basically a sunroof which is wider than usual and stows in front of car and deflector then fits the leading edge - Porsche 924 Targa had similar) and sunshade and rare factory supplied cover is still with the car. The glass full width 'Targa' top lifts out and has a place where it stows under the front bonnet. It feels like a convertible! There is also a subtle Fiero accessory side scoop (original goes back with two screws in seconds)
The rear wing has been carefully removed but can be put back in minutes. It was a $300 option and you can see the 1986 factory photo (above) without the rear wing. Subtle decals cover the mounting holes so it can be put back, no problem.
All lights conform to UK spec. Rear fog light is switched into the rear brake light and conforms for MoT. Engine runs spot on! and gearbox is perfect. Just get in and drive.
Reg number TIB5714 can be looked up online for MoT history. Nothing to hide.
This non age related number plate comes with the car.
