1997 BMW E36 323i
Good spec
Leather, 18 button OBC, 6 CD Changer, heated seats, split folding rear seats, M-Tech suspension, 16” alloys.
2 Previous owners (second was my great-aunt for 17 years)
148,000 miles
Full BMW Service History to 125k (16 stamps) then independent receipts.
In my ownership (since June 2017) I have replaced all four shocks with correct Boge M-Tech items (no receipt but have photos or you can take a look), the rear window seals (upper and lower) - so no leaks, all four tyres (Toyo Proxes T1R), the ignition barrel (common E36 problem), cam sensor (VDO), both rear wheel bearings along with rear brake discs and pads (Brembo), various bushes/droplinks (some Powerflex) and the number plates (from BMW dealer).
The only modifications are a 5 litre washer bottle and uprated speakers (standard head unit).
I changed the oil and filter when summer last year (Castrol Magnatec 10w/40, Mahle) and again last month.
Fuel consumption is 28-29mpg combined. A/C works, as do heated seats.
Relevant receipts (2014 onwards) detail the following replaced:
ABS Relay, Spark plugs, rocker cover gasket, track rod end ball joints, front discs and pads, radiator and water pump.
Engine pulls well, 5 speed autobox shifts as it should.
Interior condition is good, the drivers seat bolster is worn and split on the seam. The electric window buttons need holding down to fully close the windows otherwise they stop halfway and go down again (common).
Exterior condition is good, a few marks but in very presentable condition.
All handbooks are present, there is only one key. Oddly, the car does not have remote locking! Exterior pics taken before new plates.
All in all, an honest example. I do have a set of AC Schnitzer 17” e36 alloys and a set of ACS bumpers (not correct colour). These are available should the purchaser wish to buy them separately.0seven884zero409two9
