I'm off to the Goodwood Revival this year. Birthday present from my wife, I'm very excited! I'd like to do the midget up a bit like a 1960's racer, kind of like a café racer style, but I'd like it to be as period correct as it can be, considering nature of the event. I've been looking for MG works cars, but can't find a lot. The car I'm taking is a 1966 Midget. Blue instead of British Racing Green, but I draw the line at a full respray for the trip! I'll settle for the correct sponsors!!

Rondells for race numbers, loose the windscreen and fit aeroscreens only. Loose the bumpers and paint the lower front valance orange for a bit of Gulf colour combo. Remove carpets and fit buckets. Fit single rear reversing lamp spot on the bumper brackett and fit wood Moto-Lita steering wheel.

I do Revival every year without fail - arrive on the Thursday morning and get pitched up for the weekend - My little Jowett Javelin works much of the event has one of the period taxi fleet - the whole event is a do not miss for us - try the Goodwood Revival website for images / ideas /car styles and make sure you go in period style dress otherwise you will most certainly feel out of place

Yeah definitely need to dress up for the occasion!
Going to pick up a few period racing decals, can't see much in the way of sponsorship on any 60'd MG's I can find.
Can't take the screen off unfortunately as it's one of the few midgets that actually gets used in the rain, so need the roof!
