I have this on my 924 and it does the job. Been on for a number of years without issue.

I’ve fitted accuspark on both my cars. They run better and I’ve had no trouble with them.

same here fitted this kit numerous times to a few engines xflows and a Hillman lump, all improved the starting, driveability and general running. well worth the effort.

Me too - fitted to a 1275cc MG Midget engine in my Minor Traveller, a few years ago. Had to rotate the dizzy by quite a few degrees to get it to start at first, then set it to the best running condition but it's been fine ever since.

plus on some I have done you get left with a spare switched +12 wire to run to say an electric fan or something? which also is a worthwhile upgrade and may give you 1-2hp gain (lol) / less strain/moving dead weight on the engine

I’ve had a few, from the Accuspark/H&H ignition systems to Lumention’s Magnetronic and Optronic precursor (Piranha).
The Britpart items have been fine for me. The others were used because
A) no other systems were available at the time or required using questionable components elsewhere ; the latter was relevant for the Lucas 44D4 dizzies. B) it was made back in the day; Stag system; alternative was twin points.
The H&H system didn’t work well. I ended up sending them back. Points these days are risky; in a cost driven environment there are a a few bad batch of points made these days, with condensers and the points heel being suspect.
My advice? Go with a trusted system, with a balance of cost and reliability. Once the good parts have stopped being made due to demand they will be gone; rubber bushes are a great example here.

Sorry I'm confused, which systems are you recommending?

Sorry, I gave an overview; I didn't know what dizzy you had fitted.
What Dizzy do you have?
If it's a 45D4 I'd go with the BritPart kit. Amazon and a couple of others do it. The Accuspark would then be a close second If it's a 25D4 then I believe the Accuspark/Powerspark is your only choice.
The other choice is a 123Ignition dizzy, which is fully programmable. But they are pricey.
