I've not had to do any serious body filling for years and was just wondering what fillers give the best results?

U-pol is always good, some of the "easy sand" varietys are a pain to get flat (had problems with car plan and Isopon fillers for this)

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in |

Plastic Padding Ultima is really good, use it for everything even as a stopper(for filling in pin holes).
If your on a budget the only one to choose is U-pol easy 1, but buy a separate stopper.

depending on size of the job i use easy 1 to get the basic shape then skim with Plastic Padding Ultima if its only a small job i just use the Plastic Padding Ultima

Hairnet got me some Unipart stocked stuff. massive tin. cant remember the brand, but it was pretty damn good. though the car i used it on is now sold-ed

That Easy 1 stuff is alright, but if I'm splashing out I use something called Metallik or something like that. It's got aluminium in it and goes on and sands really nicely. Bit more pricey but good stuff. Find it in Halfords (  ) |

I always heard that p38 stuff was good. Ive bought some but am yet to use it.
