There are a few Retro Campers floating around here. I did a bit of a search but could not find a "show your retro camper" thread. Why not starting one? This is my 1999 Delica. Some vehicles of this vintage are proper retro. I think the Delica only just scrapes in as a retro. Anyway this is it. I bought this LWB high roof Delica around October 2016. Although neglected I liked what I saw. Made a silly offer and more or less walked away with the message that I had cash in my pocket, would not make another offer and would take it right there and then. Gave him 10 minutes to think about it. He accepted my offer and I had a bargain!

This a very nice Transit. It's been a very long time that I have driven one but from memory they are quite comfortable.
Good luck

1989 Citroen C15 Romahome 1.9D. Only had it a year and if I'm brutally honest, bought very much with the heart and not the head. Not sure if I'm going to fix it, flog it, or scrap it...

Here’s my Fiat 900 Spacemaker 😬 My first car was a bright green 900E Caravelle, which was great as a campervan but succumbed to terminal tinworm.

That Fiat is amazing. Here is ours, '91 Autotrail/Merc 208. It's more of a motorhome than a camper (it's got a bog and a shower), been all over in it; Istanbul in the East, top of Norway in the North and Sicily in the South plus everywhere in between. The body is a bit ropey but chassis and running gear is spot on. Very under powered, it has a turbo conversion which means we can get top gear without it bogging down.

Balmy, that's a big roof indeed. It's almost a micro camper isn't it?
generallee, I really like that old Mercedes. I used to drive a Mercedes van for work many years ago. it looks the same as yours from the front. I liked it.

I had this converted military Bedford Ambulance in the early 90’s with a bit of a history whilst serving in Gibraltar. Not the best colour but it was rather plush inside! The history of this vehicle related to the SAS shooting of the IRA in Gibraltar. It was one of the Ambulance’s used to transport one of the deceased.
