1996 Renault Clio RT 1.4 8v. 58k Full service history 12 months MOT 15" alloys straight from the 90s with nearly new tyres Sweet ass 90s mods such as CRYSTAL REAR LIGHTS!! Richbrook gear knob with matching handbrake lever, AND Richbrook stick on fuel filler sticker thing... Now that that's out of the way, car is in really great condition, runs and drives smooth, great condition interior, looks almost brand new, and bodywork is great too with no rust on it. It's got a few dings down the sides which a PDR guy could get out though, and that's purely because of it being in storage. This car was owned for 4 years and dry stored by a girl who got the car for when she passed her test, but she never got round to it. Most parts in that time have been replaced with new old stock, genuine Renault parts. Car had electric windows, which work. Electric mirrors, which work. Electric sunroof, which works and DOESN'T leak! Pop out rear quarter windows. It's a 5 speed manual, has a K&N induction kit on with added cold air feed for all the power. Car looks to have had the rear arches repaired in its life (they rust on these old girls) and it's not a ad job but the paint is slightly different. Has a bad boy back box on to show the girls you mean business (actually sounds decent). There's a Sony stereo fitted, but comes with a more retro looking one in the boot, along with a dog cage thing and a steering wheel cover. It's got 6x9s in the parcel shelf, It's a good job tbh, because 90s. All stickers and decals will be removed, and the rear lights will be swapped for standard ones next week (they are love/hate at the moment!) All this could be yours for £1095ono. Closest spec one is a 5 door auto in same colour on eBay up for £1900. Located in Leeds. Price is negotiable Contact me on 07884344784
** EDIT** The car has now had the garish stickers removed, and standard rear lights will be delivered next week.

Not intending to rain on your parade, but I didn’t think there was a SPORT model - I think, correct me if I’m wrong, someone has added the badge. Looks like simply an RT to me, but RT’s are good. Happy to be proven wrong!

Wow i was only thinking the other day that the first modern car i wanted was a 1.4RT in this green colour. I even have the parkers guide from the time, agree with harryburgundy on the badge too.

I have one in this colour (Goodwood Green), completely standard with 48 on the clock. I bought it as a stop gap last December. I went to see a manual in Bideford that was shocking, took train back to Exeter (for onward journey to South Wales) when I remembered another was for sale in Exeter - but it was auto and not what I was looking for. Long story short, I still have it and it’s been faultless - great little cars, even the autos!

Yep. RT's never had a sport badge so that's been added for sure.
I would also try and get some standard rear lights and sell the lexus style ones separately as they are very marmite. Also the decal in the rear window.
Otherwise that's a very nice RT. I had a 16v and my sister-in-law had one of these and it was great.

I think you guys are right, the sport badge has been added - however it's a faultless car. I am getting the standard rear lights for it next week, and all the stickers and decals are coming off - it's 100% marmite at the moment - but as a car it's amazing. For a little 1.4 it's got some zip to it! Would be great to see it in daily use, and ideal first car as the tax and insurance are so cheap. I'll edit the ad now and remove the sport

I'm going off similar mileage examples in same condition. And I'm open to offers. But thanks for your input

But thanks for your input Again mate, none of my business and hope you get what you want for it, but even first phase MK1’s in similar low mileage but totally factory standard spec are struggling to fetch good money unless they are Williams. I did sell a superb low mileage Phase 1 Mk1 RT for over £1k but it was mint and low miles. Phase 3 are less desirable although I actually prefer them. GLWS
