Some great pics here! I was just thinking though, all of those cars that were inside I don't think I've ever really seen them at any other shows, so do they just for the most part sit in the owners garage for the other 363 days of the year? The amount of time, effort, and £££ that goes into them, it's a shame that they're not seen more regularly. There's only one of the regular cars at the show I see around, and that's in the owners garage on the way past to my place of work. Let's see those shiny dubs more often people! Good point. I know the Natural High race car well, it belongs to Phil West who I've known for many years. It started as a stocker, then became a fast streetcar, then street/strip, then race only. The blue metalflake is new for this year - I think it was mainly original paint before. Another friend won Best of Show in 2015, debuting it at the show, but since then he's thrashed it down the strip a few times, running 13's. He said to me only yesterday that he enjoys the build most, and motivation to tweak it is low as it would be so easy to damage the paint.

What a POS! The rear valence and wheel have fallen off FFS!!! Seriously though, this car is a good example of what I mentioned above. Must be many thousands of £ and man-hours tied up in this, and I would personally be scared to drive it due to other numpties on the road/car parks. I don't think you'd want to leave it in a Tescos car park unless you were to take up 2x spaces with it ;-> Hope the owner does still take it out on nice days as it would be a shame for it to sit in a garage all the time.

Ok you can stop the internet now, that guy wins. I’ve just read that thread from the start and it’s incredible the work he’s put into the car. No wonder it won best of show

Thanks HoTWire, I saw it wasn't a complete link but thought I'd fix it later, then forgot... Actually took me three attempts, what an odd URL structure . Amazing thread though.
