Than a 2 or 3 door coupe/fastback etc. version?
And is the more-door equivalent ever better looking than the 2 or 3 door version?
I can't think of any but surely there must be some?!

I have always been a two door kinid of a guy, why would you want more doors than you've got hands? I have always beleived that you should only have the four door if there was never a two door option. However, I have always thought that the four door Hillman Avenger was a better looking car than the two door Hillman Avenger... Weird! Although I'll bet if you came at me with both and told me I could take one away with me I'd be driving off in the two door! Old habits eh?

And is the more-door equivalent ever better looking than the 2 or 3 door version? Almost always for me although I will admit to a strong bias towards station wagons. The XA to XC Ford Falcons are a case in point. How did the Valiant Charger and Holden Monaro manage to look cool while the Ford boys down the road were producing from a similar design brief a coupe that looks like a fat ar5ed whale?

Win on Sunday sell on Monday, the need for wider wheels lead to that travesty

I really like four door saloons I had both mk1 and mk2 cortinas in two door And four door models , I preferred the four doors But my four door mk2 escort never done it for me My current Mercedes fetish , means I’m very keen on four door models But yes four doors always seem cheaper in answer to the question, given the choice I’d prefer a more door

2dr wagons out-cool any other body style though. Particularly early Falcons. XK I believe they're known as in the antipodes.

Mercedes W124 estates often fetch more than the 2 door coupe. Not sure if this counts as you could argue the 2 door coupe goes for more than a 4 door saloon.

2dr wagons out-cool any other body style though. They do indeed, even better when they are rare as well.

Love the opal estate if that's what it is very nice there's a old guy round my way with a brown 2 door fastback one I see it every Friday at morrisons. Looks a vwee bit unloved here and there I did ask if he would consider selling it and he said when he dies the car will die too. Go to the scrapyard. Shame really as it looks very nice. It's a k reg so think it's a 1971.
