A while back i noticed after parking my car up for the night (from memory it may have been under a tree :/ tree sap??) that there were tiny specs all over my windscreen. I tried to remove these using windscreen cleaner to no avail, i also tried a claybar, helped a bit but there is still so much present. Is there anyway of removing this?
thanks for any help

They might be road tar - try a solvent - something like lighter-fluid, Acetone or white spirit on a soft cloth and see if it loosens/melts the marks

a razor blade is one trick I've seen and used, you have to be careful not to dig the corners in.

Ok thanks, I'll give them a try, it's not so bad until there's a bit of sunlight and it makes it very difficult to see

If all else fails someone like Frosts do a glass polishing kit, not sure how good it is, but I bet its not cheap. Supposed to get rid of scratches, so mildly abrasive, might do the trick?

And £225

I was about to say, you can polish it but be careful. I usually just live with it, easy to crack.

Ive heard of people polishing with wire wool. Yeah, I bought some of the ultra fine wire wool, but haven't dared try it yet. They talked of applying some kind of Rainex stuff, after, which rather unconvinced me. I'd like to hear from anyone that's tried this method.

No, it was literally parked up for a night and the next day I noticed it, like I said i'm not if it's tree sap or if someone has sprayed something over?
