My immediate neighbour down the Lane has a nice 1984 Mercedes 300SL and next door but one has a 1989 Bentley Continental whilst the in the other direction my immediate neighbour has a 1989 ex RAF Land Rover 110 V8 with a further neighbour 3 doors down owning a very nice 1975 Triumph TR6 - Might just be the part of the country that I live in has classics / retro's of all types appear to be very popular within the area - but they must be others out there

Lots of high end stuff around here, many retirees who spent their children's inheritance on a Ferrari or Porsche!  But the best is the collection I can see from my front room window, 5 Mazda RX8's, all taxed, tested, parked in the road and all owned by the same person, who is a legend in my eyes! |

I see a two-tone silver Sierra Sapphire with chrome eight-spokes around quite often.
There's another Sapphire, a red standard 1.6L around too, as well as a navy blue A-reg Montego, and a black Mk5 Cortina estate.

Yes I do. In my village there are a lot of classic and odd ball cars including my own. However I won't go into too much detail apart from it's a great little village live in.

nothing much retro or even vaguely interesting on our street (other than my old tat) but I did notice the other day that pretty much every car parked up is either silver or white , the only exception is my 106 , the other half focus and up my mum's smart which are all blue!

My next door neighbour has a Celica Supra and a baby mustang Celica, across the road lives a pre war Daimler drophead, a pre war Wolseley, an early MGB and a Mk3 Capri. Next door to them is a Morris Minor, two houses up from him is a Series2 LandRover, across the road from him is a Series1 Trantor, I could go on a while here, you get the idea......

There's a solid SWB landrover parked opposite my Hunter, both proper "working" classics. Some of the folk at our local industrial estate have interesting motors as dailies - Cortina Mk5, mild custom Moggy, minis, VWs (beetles / campers / a stickered surf-dude golf). It's always nice to see stuff being used, rather than forgetten in lockups "being restored"  |

I live outside of town but on my road is a 63 valiant, some loud mustang, Chevy 3100 Truck, 70 Chevelle, 68 Firebird, 40 Chevy deluxe (project), a number of corvettes and a Dodge Rampage. Plus whatever is around my place at any given time. That’s a two mile stretch, pretty well every place has something.

VW beetle in the nex street
Something very very old round the corner, no idea what it is
Ford F100 with a very hot engine up the road
Willy’s Jeep on the same road
Then a local company that own over 50 1940/50 show standard trucks, cars, sign written delivery vans etc.
Some days in summer, it’s a like the road is it’s own show ground. :lol:

There's a young lad with a lupo he's playing with. There used to be another lad with a Corsa with a kit on it. Not my thing but he didn't drive like a dick and kept it spotless. He comes back to his parents in a seriously low 3 series with a stanceworks sticker these days. And that's yer lot.
My 2003 s-type might be the oldest car on the street.

Herald estate and Vitesse across the road, classic Mini down the road the other way, 5-door Golf GTi round the corner hasn't moved for a couple of years. I see a nice black MGBGT every now and again, think it visits relatives. Very low VW T6 round the corner. 3-door Cossie in a garage local too. Lad at the local shop has a stock '71 1200 Beetle, and an older chap (60s?) drives his mum about in a gold 1303. A mate down the road has a nice '63 Beetle in his garage too. These are all on my estate.

My first thought was no I don't, and that our Land Rovers (1980 and 89 vintage) were the only old things in the village.
Thinking a bit harder, one of the neighbours has a tidy old Stag which occasionally comes out over the summer, another has an old Datsun of some description hidden in his garage waiting to be restored, and the old lad on the other side of us has a few classic bikes that him and his son play with occasionally.
We also have neighbours who have new cars on PCP that are traded for new every 3 years, one of whom stopped talking to us when we (unknown to them) had a new Quashqai as a hire car from the insurance company whilst our old Leon was away being sorted, and they no longer had the newest car on the street.
When it went back I was in two minds as to whether paying £250 a month for a new car and have them not to talk to us was worth it or not.
We stuck with the Leon.

I live on a 1930s terraced road with secure rear parking with some land opposite the back of the garages which most households have claimed for parking which i can only presume attracts car people as in our row of about 60 houses there is
a 80s mini and his son has a honda s2000
a bloke with a t4 transporter, a jag xtype, and a mgf
then me
two doors up he has two 60's beetles and a newer shape beetle plus all his mates pop round with their vw's
next to him the guy stores his friends hotrod from time to time
then further up a guy has a mk3 astra, volvo 940 plus some old motorbikes too
then there is a guy with a smiley transit mini bus, a merc clk convertible
then a guy with an old l200 shogun sport and a harley plus his son has a chyrsley crossfire
then a bmw e38
then another smiley transit and a couple of guys that seem to buy bmws and hilux surfs and send them to poland so they are always changing.
thats all in an allyway thats about 3/4 mile long.

The next door neighbour races anything he can lay his hands on, they usually end up in a state but he has some great machinery, it's all Almeras and Astras at the moment, but he did have a great old toyota estate, I think that went to heaven last year though. There's a guy up the road with a late 90's celica, and old mk1 fiesta near the shop, a classic mini 4 doors down, A early saab 900 under a tarpaulin in the next street, many many mk1 discos all done up for off roading, and a mk1 granada in the next village that looks immaculate. There's plenty more around here but that's all i can think off right now |

Within a 5 min walk from my house there is a custom morris minor, various vw bay windows, mm1 escort, 2 mk2 tinas, mk3 escort cab, renault 5 van, ford econoline, various J stuff i don't understand, loads of lifted 4x4 covered in mud, an alfa sz, something under a sheet i don't recognise (mm2 granada maybe), mk2 jag, some 80's mercs, mk3 escort estate, loads of others i cant think of. And thats just whats parked up super local. See loads of stuff driving around thats also local but not seen where it lives.
Seems to be a bit of a hotspot where i am.
