Ok so it’s not strictly retro being an 06 but as this is one of the only car forums on I’m somebody may be able to help.
I have an 06 Alfa Romeo GT 2.0 Petrol. I’ve got a constant misfire on cylinder 3. I’ve done all the usual checks, swapped coil pack and plugs with another cylinder but misfire stays on cylinder 3. Plug is wet when removed and exhaust smells of unburnt fuel so I’m guessing it’s not an injector issue, tested c3 coil pack and it’s giving a good spark and lastly did a compression test which showed good matching results on all four cylinders.
So it seams to have everything a petrol engine needs, fuel, spark and compression yet still not firing on cylinder 3.
Any idea’s?
