	Yeah it is. 20v isn't anywhere near bolt in though.

	polo engine like mine easy swap to gt /g40 or golf 3 1400 , the bigger ones share nothing at all in common
	91 golf g60, 89 golf 16v , 88 polo breadvan

	The last Trabants, Wartburgs and Barkas, even before the Wall came down, had VW sourced engines. I think the engine parts were assembled in the GDR. They had IFA cam covers - the GDR regime didn't want to advertise that they were using engines from the Western class enemy.
