A T reg Saab 93 2.0 Turbo Convertible Auto in dark blue.
I saved this as part of a job lot of cars. The previous owner died unfortunately, I knew him in passing, used to own his own Garage, and was retired, but still liked mucking around with cars.
He'd always wanted a Saab convertible, and I knew the lengths he went to, to get this one.
Unfortunately, due to family issues, the Saab has been sat up for the best part of 7 months since the old boy died, which hasn't done it any favours, though it is still MOT'd until November (I think, will confirm tomorrow).
When he was driving it, the roof DID work, but obviously sat up for 7 months, it now doesn't. Having asked bods more upto speed on these things, they reckon either the motor unit needs a tap, or one of the microswitches needs replacing/reseating.
Spec: Alloy Wheels, ABS, 4xElectric Windows, Sony Cassette Head Unit with 10 CD Multichanger in the boot, Central Locking, Immobiliser, Alarm, Tan Leather Interior, Aircon, Wood Effect Cappings on Dashboard, Twin Airbags, Convertible, Turbo.
Front bumper has a knock on drivers side, bodywork is fair for the age, but could do with polishing up. Roof isn't holed, Interior could do with a good clean, its a bit musty smelling inside.
Whilst the car is driveable, there is an issue with the front passenger brake. I suspect, but haven't had time to check that the brake lining on one of the pads has come away, but will check this tomorrow for sure.
Still has half a tank of petrol in her, I have the logbook.
Happy to entertain offers on her, I scrapped the other two cars because they had serious issues and were curse word, this Saab whilst not perfect, its far to premature to be thinking of scrapping it.
Will also try and get pictures up tomorrow, need to find an alternative to Photobucket (gits!)
