Sticky rubber.





We headed round to the Village complex stand to watch the remaining races of the day as it gives a good view of an intersting and potentially action filled section. We were not disapointed.

First was the big GT race. And there must have been a field of about 40 cars.



Racing was alread close on the first couple of laps...



ANd then got a bit hairy when a load of oil was spread on the racing line round this corner which caught quite a few drivers out the first time they hit it.

Hmm, spin actually.





These two were having a great tussle for first and second.





But the first/second battle was ended prematurely in a bunch of back markers when the red Lola got side swiped trying to go up the outside into the left.



Went to look at Lamborghinis before the next race.





Next race was '50s F1. Not many photos.







Then came the Group Cs. The sky had turned threatening and rain was inevitably going to hit at some point.





A few laps in and it bucketed down.





Good for rooster tails though.







Just stayed long enough to see the saloons come out and start their race.







The lead Sierra entered the corner on the first lap in not such a controlled fashion and ended up almost last as a result though fortunatly everyone managed to avoid him.



And that was that. A fabulous day out.
