This is a little project I am doing for my son Presley.
He's 4 now and loves switches etc this stems from his love of fans and windmills etc that he's had from an early age.
Since he was a toddler he has loved things that spin or turn and this is where the love of fans comes from which he now collects.
He loves the mechanics of stuff and how it all works.
This was his main Christmas present when he was 3 a stand up fan.
I recently took him to the www.southyorkshireaircraftmuseum.org.uk
we have been before as he likes the propellers but this time the cockpit of a Helicopter you can sit in really sparked his imagination.
My wife suggested the idea of a switch/activity board a while a go but the trip has really spurred me on.
So I'm on the look out for any interesting switches/dials to add to the collection.
