Anyone know who to reduce the rattle in an exhaust likethis, New springs? Seem quite a mission to get them off,so all pointers appreciated. I did attempt to brace the rear (lower in this pic) section of the joint? But there's nothing convenient above it to lash the hose clip on to.

Springs off, separate, clean, zaust paste, new springs..? Got the springs off but couldn't separate the two parts. I'm a newb to all this, so thanks for the quick pointer.

probably not meant to be separated, there's quite a few different length springs in the exhaust parts catalogues. www.clampcouk.co.uk/

Are you sure that's where the rattle is? What sort of "rattle" is it? Like, does it resonate and rattle at certain revs, or is it when you go over bumps etc.

Figured it was that joint as it stops when I brace one part again the other. General exhaust tone is a bit poop though - a bit too much of a buzz. Cheapo exhaust sounds cheap, surprisingly.

May be a badffle inside the exhaust loose, could be anything really. Just drive it harder so you don't hear it LOL
