I went to start this at the weekend as I do from time to time (it's in my storage barn) and the starter motor sounds like it's giving up the ghost (turning slowly even with a jump) so it wouldn't start.
Priorities at home have changed since my wife was diagnosed with cancer, so this needs to go - so it's free for spares or repair to anyone who can collect it in the next fortnight before it goes on ebay for 99p - after which I will tow it to the scrapyard.
There are loads of bits that you could sell - two sets of alloys, half leather interior, CD player, etc, etc, or you could change the starter (a quick look shows this one for £45 delivered?) and get an MOTd car for £45 and a few hours work - I just don't have the time.
Bought in late 2011 purely to take 5 of us to Austria on a skiing holiday, it performed so well that we kept it!
Unusually for a French car, almost* everything works - electric Windows all round, twin electric sunroofs, remote central locking, 10 CD multi changer under the passenger seat (with column mounted controls), mpg display, engine oil level, fuel remaining, and freezing cold air-con. It has the brilliant split rear hatch and drug smuggling hidey-holes everywhere. The half leather is in pretty good condition (tear to drivers seat base) and the 3 rear seats (all with diagonal belts) fold forwards, come out totally or can be refitted as just one or two seats with loads of elbow room (or too far apart for the kids to hit each other  ) and there are fold down tables on the backs of the front seats.
*the radio frequency/outside air temp/time/date display doesn't work - I've never missed it
It's let me down twice, once in 2012 and again in 2014 - both times the plastic turbo inlet pipe had come adrift. The first time I simply reattached it and towed the caravan back from Le Mans, the second time it happened close to home and I replaced it. The only thing that's ever failed is the alternator, which I replaced with a refurbed item. The only other fault I can recall was a balljoint for an MOT. There are a few dents and car park dings and I think it's on 120k miles or so (oil, filter and fuel filter last summer and it's not done many miles since). Brand new battery July 16. MOT October 17. Car is near North Cerney.
