awww come on, Grenade, the second one will only take half the time! We put some thick rubber matting in our studio for flooring and it still smells a little when it gets hot....but what we have is very different from what you put down...that should not smell for too long..... looks great...any finished pics? Jp

I had to work today but I'll go out there later tonight. I'll get some nice pics in the daylight. And yeah right! I'm not doing another van. I would of course- but the price has to be right right.

OK! It's 90% completed. Still needs- Front turn signals, Both mirrors installed, new glass, new windshield wipers, an all day road test, Seats cleaned, spare tire secured, tires balanced, the little chrome center caps on the wheels and probably a few other little things I'm forgetting... Take a look at the industrial, agricultural All Wheel Drive Hemi Goodness that is this big, ugly 1960 METRO from international Harvester and Dodge. And me lol... Soon to be found on Ebay and at car shows near you...

Have you removed the front markers because you could not get amber covers?

love it - I'd have simple (rusty) steel tubes as bumpers rather than the chrome though

I must have been hibernating to have missed this entirely until today, but it was well worth waking up for. All it needs now is a big beer fridge in the back, and you can call it done. Fantastic stuff, just as we have come to expect.

The amber front indicators have arrived and we're supposed to finish up a bunch of the little items tonight. Thanks for the compliments! I am SUPER EXCITED to get it on the market and see what it brings. That's part of the thrill in building things. It's similar to gambling I suspect. Always trying to catch the elusive "win" lol
Pics coming soon, the mirrors are great. ish lol

Fingers crossed that it gets a new home and you are rewarded for the effort.
I have found more financial success in assembling other people's visions at their expense, rather than trying to sell my own efforts for a profit; much like you did with the Coyote swap. The down side is that I don't get to realize my own visions.
I think your method where you give birth to your vision, yet leave enough work-to-do on the table so that it can still become the new owner's work, is a good compromise.
Is it on e-bay yet?

Hahaha, not on ebay yet. By great- I mean they look cool but they're terribly cheap. I have to cut and weld the thin, chrome plated metal tubing in order to make them fit properly. They should look cool, but might turn out like the moon disc wheel covers. A good idea at first... lol

Thanks! The bidder is a "One Feedback" person, so really- it's probably fake. People over here love to do that. We'll see.
