As above, no first and second gear, does pull away in third.... thats v8 torque for you. So I reckon as long as it can be driven into test bay it should be fine? It's a 4x4 so will that mean a road test to check brake efficiency? I'm only asking as I need to get it to gearbox specialist at some stage and finding the time and money to transport it is an extra expense and hassle. Mot'd I can drop it off late in the evening when traffic is dead. Also, anyone dealt with these guys before? link

Road test depends on which 4x4 it is. If it has permanent 4 wheel drive then it might depending on how the transmission is coupled. If it is selectable 4 wheel drive it will be Ok on the rollers.
