There on the diesel model. That's them. They just look such an afterthought. Like the sort of thing that they've had to develop and stick on after launch when they realised if you go round a roundabout at more than 3.8mph the thing goes on its roof.... The only other time I've seen something like that was on the MK2 sierra rear side windows but at least it was made as part of the window surround, this is awful but I suppose it saves a trip to Halfords.

People who put Porsche wheels and badges on vw's and then think it's a Porsche. Or an even worse one, there use to be a vw Passat (estate 😂) full of Bentley badges, tragic 😞. Or a Chrysler 300C with Bentley badges trying to make out its a Conti GT. Yes totally forgot about them, I fancied one at one point but knew a few people with them who would refer to them as mini Bentleys, sad.

Having to dip the clutch on tedious modern cars before they'll start. I was taught to check if the car's in gear 30 years ago. I don't need nannying.
On a similar note, the Kia Cee'd with this feature flashes up Goodbye on the dash when you turn it off. Really annoying.

That little moulded in lip on the edge of the tailgate of the MKIII Ford Grandad. It looks to my eye as if the design was finalised, and with 12 seconds to go someone shouts "aw sheet, its not aero enough", grabbed the nearest pencil, and scrawled it into the blueprints.
French cars converted to RHD for the UK market - so many annoying niggles, from having the handbrake still mounted on the far side of the centre console, half the glove compartment missing because the fusebox is still there, or the shorter wiper blade left on what is now the drivers side. French car fans would call it character.

You just know when they were discussing these problems in the design office at the time, there just would have been a long drag on a Gitanes, a shrug and a "meh - et alors" Which I like

It's the same as 'One Life. Live it.' and other pointless slogans along with barbed wire stickers on many 4x4 vehicles.
I bought a Land Rover with a 'One Life.' Sticker over the leading edge of the bonnet, and the first thing I did before driving away was put a strip of Duck Tape over it.

Not really connected, but on a similar note, my mate has a westfalia, I taped over the west part & changed it to epic

The bug obviously hasn't bitten that hard. ok..four if you count my old classic rangie... but I had far more fun in my samurai....and at a fraction of the cost. it went everywhere and never failed to get me home and in one day I saw four land rovers on the side of the road , all members of the "Solihull bonnets up club"!!

New dash boards such as the BMW F30... Looks like a pop out screen in the centre of the dashboard but it's a fixed unit. Goes nowhere. So why not just blend it into the dash?
