Hello! Looking for some 5x108 wheels of some sort with good tyres to go on my 740. All my tyres are shagged and I thought i'd see if anyone has anything out there. Picture of my 740 for.....dunno. Why not. Need it MOT'd by next week and proper springs going on this week.. KENT PREFERRED but will travel a bit

RWD offset 5x108 are not too easy to find.
They look like 15" steels, can't you get some cheap 195 65 15 to go on?
Or get on a facebook group and see if you can find some 940 16" alloys, but personally I think it looks good as is.
Likewise, IMO it already has the right springs!

I have some nearly new tyres to go on but they are sitting on some random alloys - just seeing what was about to save me swapping them over. They do look good - and I have wheel plans in the future anyhow. Haha, it looks very good but it rides like a pig, bouncy like you wouldn't believe. The sump is also less than an inch from the floor so it's not an ideal daily. Looks the dogs danglies but won't do when I smash the sump! The MOT tester isn't keen either. Got some 70mm ClassicSwede springs to go on this weekend to restore some comfort and raise it a little.

I was confused, but turns out they do that design in both 14 and 15". Who knew... Fair play on the springs. There's a few sets of wheels on ebay for ~£200 posted inc tyres.

Was hoping to get them for £100 or less with tyres, optimistic I know. Was going to go for a set off of a T5 before I realised I needed spacers because of the FWD Offset. Might just have to bite the bullet and swap those tyres over. Love your estate too, just read the thread!
