	One of dad's first competition cars, the little girl in the pic is my older sis, now heading for 41... Me in the BDG Rs1800 Me in the 131 Abarth Road car, sorely missed, sold to the UK.

	urquattro is a Grp4 car, built by Audi France iirc. Has a 20v in it, we did a lot of tidying on it, hybrid turbo etc, and it's running about 300bhp I'd estimate. Drives like a well tuned Road car. Delta is an ex Alex Fiorio groupA car, a proper in your face ratt-a-tatt-tatt bang bang anti social beast, you can really fling it around while banging up and down the straight cut box. Escort is an absolutely spotless, unwelded and unpatched RS shell, a proper Grp4 "Roger" replica. Big dogleg Quaife, Wide Atlas axle, turreted, slipper leaves, Gartrac front end, 245bhp 9500rpm 2.0 BDG on Webers. Sounds utterly glorious. For sale, btw. Rally 131 is a genuine Abarth, again we've tidied it, and refurbished a lot. Guy Croft rebuilt the engine a few years ago. Runs a reliable and honest dyno'd proven 200+ bhp. Dad loves this one the most. Blue Road car was a spotless Abarth stradale. My favourite. I miss it. 037, that's the jewel. All the right stuff. God bless Grp b rallying.

	Oh and the old pic. That's where it started. Single seater Autocross / Grass track car. Lightweight special, hillman imp front swing arms, with koni coilovers, Fiat twink, mostly an 1800, with Webers, cams, and 4 branch. Driving through a Beetle box, with a flipped (LSD) diff, and higher 1St and 2nd, lower 3Rd and 4th. Rear coilovers off of a DTV Chevette from the legendary Blydenstein era. Poor drum brakes all round, not they ever really used them lol. Good enough for Dad to win the championship several times.. Against more powerful and fancier equipment. Autocross was a big sport here in the 70s, and 80s. Getting popular again.

	10/10. The 131 Abarth is just as cool as it gets. I recall how popular the 131's were in Ireland back in the day. There was also plenty Supermirafiori and Sport models on the roads then too. A far better car than most of the competition at the time. Mind, the Audi and Lancia ain't bad either! Thanks for sharing.

	Dad "served his time" working on FIATs in a local dealership, back in the day. Hence the love of Italian metal.
