It's reached breaking point - the Benz is SO close to the road (in both an MoT and literal sense ) but it smells RANK! Basically, to cut a long story short, I fitted an interior that smells of dog shi t. A bag of poo was discovered (amongst other things) and I thought the pong would fade. But it didn't. I've tried most things - I unloaded an entire can of Oust inside it, left the windows open indoors for over three months, scrubbed the interior countless times and hung up magic tree after magic tree. Bums. Any ideas? I'm desperate!

Ewwwwwwww Source another interior? Or maybe steam cleaning would help? Not really had much experience in removing doggy doo smells from cars thankfully.

Get some really stinky weed and smoke a fat spliff in the car - my bros clio smelt horrid after it got full of muddy water but now that he/his mates smoke in the car its covered it up.

Where was the bag of festering turd secreted?
How about popping over to the Wood Green Animal Shelter, and adopting an arthritic and incontinent Lurcher. Doesn't solve the problem, but gives you a dang good excuse for having a stinkmobile.
Oh lord, won't you buy me A Dog-faeces Benz....

Seriously, take the interior out and burn it. Find a wibblepoo-free donor. It's the only way if it's really ingrained in the foam etc. If it's just on the seat covers & whatnot, there's some stuff you can get from the pet stores for removing doggy poo smells, it's boss, we used it before our puppy was housetrained and would randomly curse word on the carpet. www.simplesolution.com/products_uk/so_remover.html

Could there be anymore excrement diposited anywhere? If the smell persists I'd be thinking its still coming from a source.
I'm gonna go ahead and ask, why? why would you buy an interior that smelt of sh!t?

Faster. Faster. Until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.

Ahhh,,, Thats why PC isn't doing a scratch n sniff special. ;D hope ya get it fixxed, makes it specialist being leather so I wont suggest soda crystals or owt, out of my depths. needs cleaning somehow. The guy who owned my Sapph was a bit fat and smelly I think, the drivers seatbelt stunk of BO, I had to give it a good wet soapy wash in Fairy. it worked. Good luck

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Pull the whole interior out and deep clean it, including the painted surfaces. Only way to remove all residues really, if it's as bad as you say it is......
Or just pay someone to deep valet it, should only be 30 quid.

Jees, was hoping I could side-step the silly questions...but:
The interior came with the car I used for the engine conversion - an S-Class I bought from a dude who introduced himself as Dodgy Sid. Literally.
I found the poo along with some gaffer tape with hair on, a whole human fingernail (NOT a stick-on, the real deal) and a fridge magnet of Dale Winton.
I kept it because new leather from MB isn't even worth thinking about (at least £4k). Second hand black leather comes in at about £400 so I sacked that off, too.

This is quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever heard, you sure it's not part of that Python joke that killed people? Having worked as a taxi driver and being the victim of a few vomiters, there's nothing worse, apart from when the boss's mother had a (female) passenger leave a long brown stain on her passenger seat... Professional cleaning may be the only answer
