Another one I have, not a project, but a workhorse. Bought almost on a whim off of Pistonheads about 8 or so years ago. Running Mazda 3.5 Tdi power!

Smart motor. The SL35 is a good strong motor, I did like the one I had in my 110 until recently.
Has it heel lifted? Looks to be sitting fairly high.

Heel lifted? It's on Bilstein dampers with Koni Springs. Powerflex bushes. Stainless steel brake lines and caliper pistons all round. Proper LSD in the rear axle and an uprated autobox for towing.
Dad put on the current lower profile tires, I'm not a fan tbh, it looks a bit wrong.
It's far from tidy, but it's solid where it counts, and can tow a trailer up a mountain with 5 of us sitting inside... classic tax at 56 euro/yr and no NCT (Irish equivalent of MOT). I love driving it, and it handles pretty darn well. doesn't lean over much yet is still comfortable.
What was the SL35 in?

Not entirely sure how been autocorrected to heel... nevermind.
My SL35 was in a 110 Station Wagon, also with an autobox.

Lol no problem. Haven't lifted a spanner to it aside from basic servicing since we got it. It's getting a bit crusty underneath, I'm thinking a body off tidy-up maybe is best.

Looks like the body has been lifted before.
