OK, I love a car thats slammed on its flaps, really I do. But thinking about my own common as muck retro, I want it to have true stance, like perfect offset, ride height, wheel width. I have seen too many E36's and Fabias being driven at 50 down the motorway because the wheels catch the arches and the shell scraps on the ground. So, I have been looking for proper stanced cars. A stance that says, Handling, Agression, Cool, WHOOPS This RX almost has it but the wheels still look like wheelarch fodder to me and they're too big. This 8th Gen civic almost, but the tyre stretch is letting it down. This GT86 I think is pretty perfect, sorry for the modern content I am struggling for retros.... This Motul Civic (replica) is pretty tasty Got any pics of cars you think have a really perfect ride height?

This is exactly, perfect what I would deem 'stance' its a bit low for my liking but the wheel fitment is perfect. What kind of VW is that?? ^

Golf Mk3 stonyray (well, being in Hawaii it would be a Rabbit). I've always been a sucker for silly stance. Air cars that put the arch between tyre and lip makes my bum pucker though, thats where I draw the limit this nonsense. If I wasn't about that stancelyf though the 'Fat n Flush' look always gets me: Just nailing that combination on width, offset, ride height and tyre size

ROFL!!!!!! I meant the air cooled one in the previous post. Lol! Don't edit your post to correct the location of your question to make it make sense, or I'm just going to edit it back to its original position. It is a Type 3 Notchback.

Oh this thread gets me going...for years I have been chasing that perfect stance... For me this is getting near - No silly camber, no tuck for MOAr LOWz, minimal tyre stretch, pretty flush... This is fantastic - no stupid thin rubber or oversized wheels Minus marks for the arches tho. Also close...BUT silly tyres make me sad Here's mine currently...still a bit high and the rears in particular need spaced out further...it's a WIP...

...Minus marks for the arches tho. I have nothing constructive to add but... BOOOOOOOOOOOO, BOOOO YOU, BOOOOO. Hako arches are perfection. I must say though, like this thread. I don't really like stance, mostly because it seems to just lead to boring cars. So its nice to see it done well.

I love a lowered car, but hate silly camber. I've never done a stanced car because i can only afford to run one, and that's for tip and school runs, shopping etc. This is the lowest I've had a car (apologies for slightly unretro content), and it was the lowest i would ever go, any more for me would make it undriveable due to my drive and various speed bumps in the area
