Hi, I'm not sure I understand, if you've got a drain you don't want then fix the drain or fit an isolator switch. If the drain is something that needs to be on then this will switch off when the voltage drops to the set level anyway. An isolator switch will be cheaper.

^ As said above, more info please ...
Is it a weekend car that drains the battery when left for a few weeks, a Retro daily, or something modern? How long does it take to drain?
I suspect the relay you posted will be a drain on it's own, so it will (maybe) work for you but it will drain the battery quicker than it does now (spec says "breaks at 12.65 volt" which is a lot for a battery when the engine isn't running)

I've got a car that I rarely use and the battery is regularly flat. Fixed it this week by taking the fuse out of the clock!

Isolator is the way forward though on some cars disconnecting the battery for aby length of time causes no end of daft issues usually with factory stereos.

I was more coming from a precaution point of view.
So to avoid leaving you stranded with a flat battery if a drain start to develop (like fans that go bad).

No those relays don't work that way, they are designed to turn on when the input voltage exceeds 12.xx ie the engine is running to connect up a second battery to the charging system. Connected the way you suggest it just wouldn't work. An isolation switch (or disconnecting the battery lead) would be the way forwards.

them relays only let power past at about 13.5volts so only when engine is running , put a solar charger in with a fresh battery

I was more coming from a precaution point of view. So to avoid leaving you stranded with a flat battery if a drain start to develop (like fans that go bad). Surely if it is cutting the battery because the voltage has got low enough to trigger it then you would have to charge the battery to "un-trigger" it before you could start the car regardless? It would disconnect the battery but would be as good as having a flat battery surely?

I fitted an RC controlled main power switch which also has a drain protection so it will always start, It switches automatically when the voltage drops below a certain level. I also use it as a anti theft protection as my battery is in the boot. Peter
