I looked at this and the gist is you have to have a car no later than 1977 , and you have to get it restored by july i think , then you might win £4000.
Sounds very much the wrong way round to be doing it !!!
It has some examples of people who have restored there own cars , i do not know if they are genuine as there stories are all ' i had to change the brakes and fit a new exhaust '
weird and obvious thought up by a group of hipster univeristy graduates as a way of promoting a brand or some such twaddle .

Still get diverted to the Ebay.com home page (annoyingly, since I want .co.uk) when I click. Nothing about the competition at all?

Grrr. Nope. Straight to the .com homepage again on laptop and phone. Meh, giving up. Sorry, I dunno how to make it work, I'm not all that good with computers. Looks like if you win, you get £4k to splurge on ebay. Then you make a video of the work you are doing, or something like that. The work has to be done by July. 4 grand would be a big kick up the if you had a nearly done or done-but-needs-sprucing car. I am in no way connected to ebay, I just thought it might suit some on here. ...you could make a bruce-van....

^ works for me too I think the idea is show them your project now - the lucky (!) winner then gets £4k Ebay credit to spend before the July deadline Not for me but thanks to OP for posting the link

They should open it up to all classics then would appeal more tbh ! Also wonder if that 4k to spend and the deadline also takes into account all the scammers and mongs that don't post your stuff out haha
Could easily see deadline passing whilst still waiting on that all important gasket or something to arrive haha

My shopping list is already well over £4k. I could spend it very quickly!

Anywhere where's the fun in just having all the bits just sort of handed to you Part of the appeal for me is sitting for hours scanning the inter webs for that elusive hens teeth part that you need to complete All part of the satisfaction IMHO
