Hello All.
I've now had 3 Honda C90 Supercubs. 2 which I have restored and one which I use daily. I've owned that for 3 years now.
I've always wanted to build a street cub or a cafe/tracker out of a small >125cc bike, but on your typical auction site people tend to ask obscene amounts of money (especially for C90s, I shouldve kept all 3!) for even barn finds or projects.
So, have any one of you wonderful people got something sitting about in a shed that I could return to and surpass its previous glory? Anything japanese or british. I'm quite fond of anything japanese, small and able to modify, i.e. no honda melodys or scooters etc. And would love something like a BSA Bantam if I could, although I appreciate old British tat like that commands silly money now too... what doesnt really? I'd even consider fairly modern stuff like a CG125. Literally anything cool considered. The weather is curse word here and I need something I can tinker away with in the workshop and the garage and then take to bike shows in the summer.
I'm in Aberdeen but know a good courier for taking bikes and small ones are pretty cheap anyway. Obviously the closer the better. don't have a budget per se but don't really want to spend more than £200 ish.
Cheers!
