Looks like a lovely example, have such a soft spot for the yellow continental lights. What's your plans then? Cheers mate, yeah the lights really suit it. I plan on lowering the front, replacing the solex carb with a Weber, 2.8i discs. 7" wheels on the back and a decent exhaust to make the most of the v6  |

This was my first car a 1.6 laser, ended up being a 2ltr, side mouldings removed and fibreglass front end.  Unfortunately that was stolen and not recovered so replaced with this... a red 2.0s (here at santa pod)  Then unfortunately I got rear ended by a transit. That was 18months ago so the capri has just gone in for a new rear quarter panel and respray (I should really start a full thread for it) Not wanting to direct away from this great forum but if you want a source a great info (wiring diagrams, how tos etc... theres a wealth of knowledge and archived material on www.capripower.co.uk and www.fordcapriforum.comCheers JOsh |

what a nice one! i love the yellow headlights. this one was my first car, back in 1998. just a 1600L  unfortunately "showing off" "rear wheel drive" and two month driving expierience doesn´t fit very well together so it ended up with a broken suspension and bended framerails in a ditch. =( |

First time I've ever seen a 2.3S - here in the UK, all we got was either the 1.6, 2.0 or 3.0S.
I presume it uses the same 2.3-litre V6 engine as used in some Cortinas?
