I would love to convert something like this into a camper with garage at the rear for my bike. Fairly sure it wouldn't fit on my drive though. Is it a 7.5t?

I've (mentally) spent hundreds of thousands on AutoScout 24.... Could definitely find a place for this.

I've always quite fancied a Prison transport vehicle as a camper conversion. You see them popping up on various websites for pretty reasonable money. From 4 cell layout through to this size which I think is 12 cell. They're very well specced, usually with roof mounted solar panels, air con, night heaters, etc. and also very often very low mileage. I think I've seen the big 'uns starting from around £5K. Another good vehicle for a larger camper conversion are ex-Council mobile libraries. Might be particularly attractive for people with mobility issues as many are fitted with lifts, e.g. Iveco Library bus currently on ebay at <£7K. Obviously there's licence considerations with these larger, heavier vehicles. Or if you're thinking retro, here's a handsome but neglected Bedford Library Bus of yesteryear, (currently on ebay);
