High there guy's wiring my mates v6 hundred e for him at the moment and come across some confusing issues. First off is a question of the fact it uses a capri colum and stalks, i want to use these and use the side light and dipped as dipped and main? is this possible any chance of wirring terminal numbers? (not using side lights on the car which is why redundant). The reason i ask the above is that after continuity test on the switches and then feeding with some power once wired the head lights come on as if main beam but even if the wires are swapped over does the same, could a fault be causing this you can suggest or am i just missing the obvoius on this one? Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks for a wicked rr07 by the way i own the avenger coupe now

is it possible that you have the headlights mis wired instead? as the old bulb/sealed beam and halogen are different and have you changed the polarity as my old 100e and 107e were pos' earth just a thought L :oN

Cheers for the thoughts. The car is running negative earth and sealed beams have been binned.
Wiring off rear of bulb has been swapped while testing and no change which was odd but hey it's a car whats new.
Managed to get another capri stalk set and am bench testing all circuits, just need to try in the car then and see what happens.
Wish me luck guy's.
