Which engine on 45 degree angle?

Are you thinking of other V8's or other 4 cylinder cars ?
Not sure they are leant over at 45 degrees but Lotus Excel Talbot Sunbeam Lotus used Webers, old Vauxhall 2.3 engines. Stuff that might have a bit more lean, Hillman Imp, Skoda Estelle and Rapid and then there are some of the front wheel drive Peugeots and Citroens.

surely it would be easier to take your current manifold to either a water jet cutters or laser cutter. from your manifold they will be able to make you a pair of flanges that will bolt to your heads,
whats your reason behind altering other manifolds? as the inlet spacing will be most likely wrong?

What engine is it that you have, sorry if I have missed it on another thread.

Just remembered reading about the Daimler engine and guess it's for that. I expect most modified ones got superchargers fitted and were put in hot rods. I've seen the sort of thing you want but it was for a Rover V8.

Have a look at fiat twin cams. Because of the hemi head design the manifolds meet them at 45 degrees even though the engines are upright, and twin carb fannymoulds are easily available.

Yes it's for the Daimler 2.5

I've spoken to a few taht has fitted four 40IDFs to their engines and the manifolds are always bespoke. A swedish guy offered to cast copies of his, but wanted uk£3000! Larry Ligas made his out of VW parts.

Porsche 924 2.0 NA has the same port spacing. Pierce manifolds do a Porsche 924 Weber 40DCOE manifold that I might be able to adapt, but I am open to other suggestions.

I started collecting 40DCNFs, but after making a carb flange to fit them as close togheter as possible it appeares it will be too long. The port spacing is 95mm on the daimler and the DCNFs would have to be 115mm appart center to center.

I take it you are the same Steve that had a thread on turbosport? if so how is your rebuild going? Do you have another thread somewhere i could follow?

If the Porsche has the same port spacing it sounds a good place to start. Were the 928's similar in any way ?

Triumph Dolomite 1850 and Sprint have a healthy lean, not sure if it's 45 degrees ( should be since it's alleged to be half a Stag V8) but it's a good tilt. There is a twin Weber manifold available for the Sprint.

What I think would look supercool on a V8 and cause less convoluted pipework than getting sidedraught carbs in, is a "6 pack" manifold made up to accept 3x 48IDA Twin choke downdraught Webers, similar idea to what was used on the 65/66 389cu in Pontiac GTO.
