Been hankering after a Capri for years, wished I'd got a Brooklands almost 4 years ago when I had the chance - for £6k !!! it was a beauty with 60000 miles and had had the usual work done, however prices of these of gone a bit bonkers and a bit too much for me !, so I've managed to get myself this lovely Mk ll 3.0 Ghia, I had swithered on this one a couple of years ago, made some enquiries, and here it is - Happy Days I have every single MOT, lots of paperwork, original order sheet, manuals etc etc, 47,000 miles - 39 years old

Such a nice looking car! Always liked the Capri, that one looks really clean and tidy. Plus the seats look really comfy. Hope you enjoy it!
Cheers, Andrew

Nice car! I wouldnt be too disappointed in missing out on the brooklands. This is cooler. I love the shape of those front seats and the essex V6 has an amazing growl to it. Enjoy! Some inspiration. This is my laptop wallpaper

I went down to London for it last week had a nice 436 mile drive home, it had been stored for a number of years. Ivan - yes the Essex V6 sounds great, especially as it has a Janspeed exhuast, I like your laptop wallpaper that driveway is very similar to mine as well, with the wall at the oppsite end from my garage - how weird is that ? !

Great looking car! this is the only standard mk2 colour i like. So 70's
Otherwise the only mk2s i like are xpack boxy arches in a funky colours, but even i would keep that one standard.
Prices have gone a bit bonkers. Friends 280 turbo technics got to 27k on eBay recently. Although it didnt reach the reserve

OMG I had exactly the same car when I was a young lad, I sold it to pay the deposit on my first house, which I eventually lost in one of my divorces. If you ever want to sell it, I'd be properly interested in that, what an absolute diamond of a car, I am truly jealous. You Lucky Chap. Enjoy It To the Max

Thanks for all the nice comments edward, it has a full Janspeed exhaust sounds great, I'll try and get some footage and post it up. I was out in it yesterday, but thats it, I wont be taking out on the road until April. It is just a great looking car I think Really pleased with it, just a pity I wont be driving it for about 4 months.
