Front bags seem to drop in stages

It'll probably just be the stiction in the dampers and bushes etc etc.

Usual cause is bonded in rubber wishbone bushes binding then letting go with a jerk. Going to poly usually stops it happening as they have separate slip-in crush tubes.

...or curse word polybushes binding and releasing, a new rubber bush would cure it either way, but if you have that much friction in the suspension somewhere something is bolloxed.

Can't say for sure either way tbh. Some are obviously designed not to, as they are serrated on the clamping face of the inner crush tube, so they're meant to lock in one position when you tighten them- the ones on my
Stack light Merc were like this. That type really need to be changed out when you're putting cars on air. But some have torque settings for the pinch bolts that are so low they must be meant to turn when needed, as you can literally move them by hand.

What kind of cars have these?
I've never seen a suspension bush like that, normally the crush tubes are all done up FT.
This would mean that the shank of the bolt is a bearing surface, you would have to grease it and everything, otherwise it would surely wear through?
This would also require the bolt to take the vehicle load entirely in shear, which normally is not the case. As far as I understand, most cars have the bolt in tension, and the load of the vehicle's weight is taken by the friction of the mounting bracket surface against the end face of the crush tube, in the same way that a wheel mounting face works.

It could be something as simple as one of the air tubes has a tight bend in that restricts air flow back to the solenoid
