I thought my days of making shonky parcel shelves of average hatchbacks were over years ago. I was wrong This was the sorry state of my speaker system when I bought the car. Home Hifi speakers! They had to go. 1 sheet of MDF from B&Q - £10 Some speakers I bought from a mate ages ago - £5 Not having the most laughable speakers in the world - Priceless Ok, so I only had white paper to cover it with, but it's a definite improvement. Anyone for a game of noughts and crosses on my parcel shelf? ;D

That's the plan. If you're coming to the retro rides show you can scribble on it. As long as it's nothing too rude

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

Excellent, brings back memories of two 15" speakers in a Mk1 Fiesta parcel shelf. I remember not being able to see the CCTV camera in a petrol station because it was vibrating so much ;D

I got rubbish indoor speakers in my jeep, but with its non existant theft proofing (not the car, my patent pending anti engine start has already saved it twice!) I cant be having anything in there that's tempting.
As a general bit of a guide to the inteligence of car thieves when they tried to steal it the first time the curse word cut the plastic window out of the door instead of just unzipping it, weeners.

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.
