Thanks for sharing. I take its something camera related that makes all the photos come out back to front?

I was a bit tired when I put all the negatives into my negative scanner and scanned them all. I didn't notice until I had uploaded them here, by which time I couldn't be bothered to change them all to the right way, and post them again. Sorry, I'll try harder next time

I almost went to this, but a) didn't want to spend any money and b) having time at home after The Gathering feels like a luxury ... looks like a goodun.

It's a fantastic event, it used to be huge but I haven't there for decades. Many rare & desperately needed components winkled out of boxes full of junk & many bargains had in the days before ebay was even a dream.

When you go to Beaulieu events, do you have to pay to go into the whole museum or just the event. I've been to Beaulieu 3 times in the last 5 years, so I've done the museum to death, but some of the events look good.

You have to pay for the whole museum, which is a swindle in my opinion as I don't think the museum is all that brilliant if I'm honest.

I don't think you can see everything in the autojumble in a day. I was at the front of the gates when they opened at 10.00 and at 16.45 (closes at 17.00) there was still a complete field I'd not seen. Never looked at the cars for sale either.

I'd always advocate the Autojumble being a worthwhile day out. I agree the musuem is a short distraction, but if you only go once a year and make it Autojumble day then it makes a nice change from the jumble stalls, which can make you kind rust/stuff blind after a while. And since it's all included int he price (or was?) it seems like two days out for one. The musuem desperately needs to be brought into the 21st Century (it's like a 1970s municipal library in design) and made bigger. Much bigger. Then it'd be awesomes. In no way intended to compete with Popper's excellent B&W vibe, here are a couple of my previous sojorns; retrorides.proboards.com/thread/156835/beaulieu-2013-international-autojumble-picsretrorides.proboards.com/thread/179625/beaulieu-spring-autojumble-pics

Last few times I went the museum was included as part of the autojumble entrance ticket to be fair the price of the autojumble is marginally cheaper than the price of the museum, and you do get to go around the museum too. But you can't get a family ticket on autojumble days, or any event days as I remember, and as its not to far from me I attend a couple of events a year, I think including both the autojumble I've been to about seven events at Beaulieu this year and when you take the wife and kids that does get kinda pricey! Plus, I've been a bit disappointed of the museum lately if I'm honest as nothing seems to change there.
