	Hi, I haven't been on here in a very, very long time. I have this set of 7jx 15" Camille Gotti wheels, a friend gave me them for my mk2 Scirocco but they never fit and low and behold, the car is now gone. I want to sell the wheels but I know very little about their worth/ what demand there is for them. (Based on my googlefu, I guess they're sorta rare but any actual knowledge would be great) They're 4 x 100's and ET 28. As I mentioned they are going to be for sale, but first need to see what is reasonable to advertise them for! Thanks!

	Personally I don't pay more than about £10 per wheel, but I would put them on ebay with a start of £1 and ten day listing and they will find their own value.

	Really? So little? I can't find out much about them, the guy that gave them to me had me under the impression they were somewhat valuable.

	What pistonpopper is getting at is that the only way you can get a true value of something is to see what someone is willing to pay. It's a bit of a risky game because it all depends on who is looking at the time. Gotti wheels are popular amongst the VAG crowd and they're decent fitment for an earlier (80s/90s) golf / polo so should sell. The only things letting yours down are the need for a clean / polish and the lack of centre caps - similar to the problem i had with my RH Toplines.

	Yep, exactly. I currently have a set of alloy wheels on ebay with good tyres wrapped around them. All in good shape, but with a couple of days left to go they're worth a whopping £1.26! Hoping things will pick up, but if not, then someone's gonna get a bargain!

	If it's on auction I usually set the start price somewhere close to the price you'd want for the goods. If they don't bid then nothing lost and you've not sold it for peanuts
	If it can be fixed with a hammer, then it must be an electrical fault
