I'll be honest, i read the title and thought 'this'll be fun'
But it looks briliant, really really good, of all the unusual vehicles that have been given unusual treatment, this is up there with the best.
How do you open the sliding door?

Well, I'll join everyone else in saying it sounds stupid and looks awesome and ignore the potential slidey door issues. One thing those arches and wheels do well is make the running boards look useful rather than superfluous.

Hi guys
I thought it looked cool when I thought it up in my head and I'm glad other people like it
The police were actually doing their job as they saw me drinking out of what they thought was a beer can at a set of traffic lights,was only a relentless but I could see their point so I asked if I could get a picture as no one would believe I got pulled in a people carrier.
As for the sliding doors ohh man does it hit I can get it about 2/3 of the way open but I've got to cut the slider hinge pocket open to allow room for a spacer not a big deal just means I'll have to make a new bit of trim for it and at the moment I really can't be bothered.
The arches are made of a product called dibond sheet it's a plastic and aluminium composite board nice and cheap can cut it with a decent knife and takes well to gradual curves up to about a 2" radius.their bonded on with good old gripfill and then the small gap to the body filled with silkaflex adhesive to give it a reasonable finish without hours of filling and painting

1986 Mercedes 200 (W124) (Standard and daily)
1976 Peugeot 404 1800 Stickshift (Standard - awaiting complete resto, engine done)
1984 Ford Cortina (P100) LDV - Cab and chassis restored, interior and glass not fitted, brand new 3 liter engine (last 110kw Sierra XR6 engine fitted and married to 5 speed Toyota Gearbox), load body needed.

I forgot to say if you guys like odd ball stuff I've put some photos of some of my stuff up on Instagram I've not long joined but I'll be posting more whacky stuff up soon

Future plans are to convert it to a over the top plush camper (done a few voyagers)
Do a few shows then get bored sell it find something else that I can make stupid and repeat

I also looked at the title as "ok, what will this be....." but top marks for execution. The color scheme works well, and sliding doors are not important.
More lows?

More lows would be good as that's my default setting but these voyagers weigh in a 2290kg with me onboard (I'm not fat honest) and have a really nice tendency to snap the front subframe so unless someone wants to donate some air bags it'll be staying stock height lol
Saying that I have way too many cars and 90% of them are stupidly low so I'm enjoying the comfort at the moment,that is till I get bored
