I took swmbo to her first classic car show many moons ago, it was at a special school in kent. usual sort of stuff, MG's and the like and then this rocked up. And he did like everyone else, out came the deck chair etc and he enthusiastically chatted to anyone who asked. Well it's a Rover P5 Coupe, obviously, but not just any P5 but Winston Sewell's car. A legendary hot rod/street machine on a par with the Harris clan's various cars. Presumably Still in Winston's hands? I've never spoken to the chap but I saw the car at Avon Park (as it was still called then) some years ago.

I was totally surprised to see it , especially at a flat cap classic car show , swmbo couldn't understand the fascinating until I explained that I had a picture of it on my wall when I was younger

Not as special as some have shown on here but I've been surprised to see this at a couple of local shows this year.

Yes, Winston still owns it, at least he did at Wheels Day this year. Does he still have his Pro-Cortina?

Another from my archives. I saw this back in 2007 at Rally of the Giants. Legit mad 60s custom.

I guess you had to really want one, especially as they date from the time manufacturers would only buy hybrids if they looked like some vision of the future via 1978 through Gerry Anderson's glasses (q.v Hahhhnda Insight )

Yellow thing is a Plymouth Prowler (bit of a cheat as it pretty much says so in the numberplate Wasn't it based on Chip Fooses' Hemisfear?

Not rare at all, but I think people were a bit surprised to see my car over the weekend at the Ignition Festival in Glasgow. Especially parked where it was, next to some friends cars.

Haha, I was thinking that..... Wrong. The only time when you should use you're is when the sentence could still make sense if it was substituted with you are. The apostrophe used is that of contractions and signifies missing letters. In this case to write You're own photowould be the same as writing you are own photo which does not make sense. He's gone quiet after his grammar lesson hasn't he? That first car is nice. I've never heard of one before.

I'll ask a buddy who knows him tomorrow for a certain answer.

To be honest, I can think of better ways of spending £100,000.
