Hi all I've been offered a 40 foot storage container to store two of my cars in . My question is are they ok to store cars in as I hear the sweat inside a bit sometimes and if so is there something I can do about it.

If you've got the space and the price is right, snap it up. I was speaking to the local storage place and they said they can't get enough of them.
You could just add a bit of ventilation holes if your worried about condensation. DO IT.

I personally don't know if there is anything you can do to stop the container sweating, My mate imported a 1967 Mercedes coupe from Australia and left it inside the container over the winter, What was a stunning car now needs full respray due to micro blisters, The chrome is also needing love as it's rusting quite badly, I stored one of my cars in a garage that had a metal roof for a few months, really wish I hadn't when I went to check on it,

I can get a 140 foot one for £170 a month so I think for that price I should do it.

I work with shipping containers and condensation is a problem, especially at this time of year, seen it so bad it's formed so much water on the roof it drips off and forms puddles on the floor, all containers have small vents near the roof but mostly not enough, some shipping companys hang absorbent bags inside which help. Wouldn't want to use one long term.

£170 / month sounds expensive - ask a few removal companies, you should find a 40' for about a third of that.
