I have an odd question - what modern cars have similar shaft sizes to the v6 type 9?
I've just nabbed a bias peddle box for my Capri, with a hydraulic clutch mod.
There's two easy options here - a kit with a hydraulic release bearing, from about £180 and up, or wang an old slave cylinder on a bracket on the side pushing the existing clutch fork. But when has the easy option ever appealed?!
Looking on the bay of E, I noticed that there's loads of hydraulic release bearings for moderns (new vectras etc) for about £25. I reckon you could make a kit up fairly easily, and for a damn sight less than £180!
Anyone know anything that might be useful?
Cheers
Jake
