The car has been sat for a while it had m.o.t and running spot on when put there but been left and described to me as needing:
cassette pop out tape holder A service A battery A valet Pads and discs Poss set off brake pipes as not sure if been done in copper
And all the halfords bits taken off I.e white back lights, after market steering wheel few crome bits
Car wants no welding and no rust but would freshen up with a paint
What are peoples thoughts cheers

It's really difficult to say without seeing it but I would tread very carefully if you're thinking of buying it. All depends on price for me. You need to satisfy yourself it's a genuine S1 first. They are fetching very strong money now. Too strong for my pockets! Lol. I would expect "some" welding after 5 years of non use but you never know? How much is the seller asking for it?

Unless it's a late registration a D plate should be a series 2 RST which is worth considerably less than a series 1.

There are a few S1's on a D plate Bryan. Rare but they do exist.
