We've got to fabricate some suspension links for the rear end of my son's Spitfire project (swing axles..... just say no!) and I'm struggling to source bush housing tubes to weld to the end of the links.
I could buy a length of CDS tube I suppose, but it's really not cheap and I don't need 3 metres! Have found a few for sale. Rally Design list a bush and tube kit but don't have a drawing or even seem to know what the dimensions are (!). Chris Witor (Superflex) lists a couple but they are quite dear and not really ideal sizes.
Ideally would have have an ID of 22.2 mm (7/8"), wall thickness of 3 - 4mm and 32mm long and I'd need 8 of them.
Surely there are other makers/sellers out there? Any ideas?
Cheers
Nick
