It's always nice to see such a result .
It's looking alot better these days! I did think a Mop would help massively here and I see you have been a busy boy!
Seeing threads like this makes me think about putting a thread up about the M3. Although it is a bit modern it's also off the road unlike a few of my previous retros, all down it need 2 £5 parts (valve shims - I was too tight to pay £300 for an entire set of shims (around 250ish?) I'd never use so decided to order them individually). That and it still wants a few odds and sods doing!
9:56 is impressive for a first timer and it looks like you kept your nerves about yourself in the video! In the 205 I was firmly in the 10s but I guess 100 odd BHP would only go so far. I was around the 9:45min area and got to around a potential 9:30 in a Clio 220 Trophy if the laptimer isn't lying about the good sections (It got double yellowed twice ; The known PinderWagon decided to blow a tyre on the lap; fair play to his car control!). However, a friend of mine who was also with us managed a 9:15 from the Clio, an impressive time and TBH a semi scary lap as a passenger ; I think it's his 30th lap around the 'ring! For me it would take alot of balls to go less than 9 mins around the 'ring, but I guess being a gamer you probably have a little more knowledge of the corners than me! Its' a bit bumpier than you thought eh? .
FWIW a roadgoing version of the Clio in question did an 8:20BTG with a proper driver at the wheel. Ours had the following:
-Half a rollcage
-Yoko AD08Rs
-Pagid RS29s with I assume high temp brake fluid
-DCT transmission (stock)
P.S ; what camera was that? I'm debating buying one....
