It was 2013 when we last went to Retromobile but work was going quite well towards the end of last year so I decided to treat Mrs_Seth to dinner for two in Paris again this year. Just the small matter of the car show to walk around all day first.
One of the special displays was a variety of cars (and other things) with desing input from Phillip Charbonneaux.
3 seats, centre driver, mid engine. This was also the dream child of pre-war GP driver Jean Pierre Wimille, who fought with the French Resitance during the war.
Porsche stand not quite as great as last time when they were celebrating a 911 annivesary.
This Porsche looked stonking in its plain paintwork.
A pair of 2" SUs on a B series. Where have I seen that before?!
This looked pretty racey.
A half restored Lancia.
I'm not normally taken by modern supercars. But this was simply stonking.
Opposite that was this, which was equally stonking.
One of the other special collections was rhomboid cars.
THE FUTURE>
