After recently being in my friends car I have a question for you guys.
He has an OBD2 port reader that he leaves plugged in that transmits Bluetooth, this is then read by an app on his android tablet and he has all sorts of gauges.
Now this is where the question comes in. I am changing the engine in my spitfire for a 2012 ford unit and planed on using an Omex 710 ECU. There are some very useful gauges that I would like such as engine oil temp that kind of thing, however I want to keep the original look of the dash. I would love to be able to use my phone or a tablet to see extra gauges so I don’t need to install the gauge only the sensors for them.
Is this something anybody knows about or heard about?
Is there anything like this for Omex ECU or an aftermarket ECU that can also do the same as the omex 710 and this Bluetooth style functions?
Cheers guys.
